Colwell Farms in New Jersey transplanted 200 apple tree saplings this month. Before this, the land had not been used for any agriculture purposes for over 50 years. Prior to this tree transplant, Colwell Farms ran multiple tests that all indicated the soil had many different deficiencies. After discovering this they decided to use a dual approach first performing a brief root soak with a 50:50 REV/water mixture just prior to transplant, and then once the sapling was in the hole filling it with a 1:3 mixture of our Organic Dakota Peat and native soil. As a result, there was not a single tree lost or damaged due to transplant shock – and just three weeks later all 200 trees are showing healthy blooms!
