Husker Farms

SELDEN, ks

Jim Frederickson saw some really good results on soybeans that he planted into untilled soil.

“I like to try new things to see if it makes money on my farm so this year I planted 40 acres under a pivot in-furrow with a 1770 NT John Deere planter with 30” spacings. Rather than till, I went right onto the corn stalks and when I saw a higher germination rate with REV, that really got my attention.

What continued to keep his attention throughout the summer was greener plants and more mature, healthier plants that kept the beans on later into the season for a 13.5 bushel per acre difference between the REV treated and untreated fields.

Seeing that REV more than paid for itself, Jim’s plans for next year include using more REV for what he thinks will be even greater profits.
