Arrowhead Golf Club Superintendent Ryan Davis keeps an 80/20 blend of Dakota Peat on hand for topdressing, washouts, and cart path edges, as well as a 50/50 mix that is used on divots, bad irrigation coverage, and the base of trees on the course.

He also uses 3.5oz of REV per thousand every month during growing season, which has helped to eliminate hot spots, decreased fertility by 40%, and helped keep his fairy ring under control. “This year has had average temperatures and moisture, and 4 out of 5 greens still have mass roots below cups.” Davis said.

According to Davis, “We also have 6 to 10 weddings per weekend, so our flower beds have to be in great shape. I have my horticulture team a gallon of REV to see what they thought, and 16 hours later they were in the shop asking for more.”
